The Midwifery programme provides you with a practically oriented bachelor's degree in midwifery. The study programme is designed in accordance with the Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications in the provision of services and gives you as a graduate the basic prerequisites to practice a regulated profession in the European Union. The theoretical knowledge you have acquired will be practically verified through long-term practice. During your studies, you will complete a total of 46 weeks of nursing and professional practice. You can carry out your practice, for example, in antenatal clinics, gynaecological outpatient clinics, inpatient gynaecological and obstetric care facilities (standard nursing units, intensive care units, delivery rooms or operating theatres) and other selected workplaces.

Applications should only be submitted electronically via the e-application application. The admission fee is CZK 650,- and must be paid no later than the application deadline of the given round (if you do not enrol, the fee will not be refunded). Further payment instructions (account number, variable symbol) can be found in the electronic application. The fee must be paid again for each round of admissions.

What subjects will you study?

The list of courses you will take during your studies (both compulsory and your choice of compulsory and elective courses) can be found in the Full-time Study Plan. The study also includes a long-term internship (of 46 weeks).

Conditions for admission to study are:
