The Centre for Lifelong Learning of the University of Applied Sciences offers an interactive lecture
to deepen and broaden knowledge in the field of human body care

BODY MANAGEMENT not only for athletes II

This lecture was produced as part of the MES project: Supporting students with exceptional sporting performance in 2024

 

 

  • Who is the training for?

The interactive lecture is intended for the general public, especially students of secondary, higher and university schools.

 

  • Aim of Education

The objective of the training is to introduce the audience to "body management" in an interactive way, which includes comprehensive care of the human body and psyche. Participants can use the acquired knowledge and skills not only in the field of sport for training or competition purposes, but also in the course of everyday life.

 

  • Scope of training

This lecture is dedicated to 3 current topics in the field of health and care of the human body - 1. Physiology of muscle contraction, performance optimization and muscle recovery. 2. Healthy nutrition and dietary supplements. 3. Psychology of success.

 

  • Scope and forms of training

The interactive lecture is planned for 4 teaching hours. Theoretical training will be enriched with practical demonstrations and discussion. The discussion will also be attended by top athletes (students of VŠPJ) who are enrolled in the UNIS program. Participants will learn how they manage to combine their university studies with top sport.

 

  • Date and location of training

The lecture will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the premises of the modern teaching centre of the University of Applied Sciences (16 Tolstého Street) with a capacity of approximately 300 seats (entrance from the bus station)

 

  • Teaching team

Mgr. Martina Winklerová, Ph.D.

Academic and researcher at the Department of Economic Studies at the University of Applied Sciences and an expert in the field of healthy nutrition.

Mgr. Hana Vláčilová

Director of the VŠPJ Career and Counselling Centre and academic staff member of the VŠPJ Department of Social Work with experience in the field of psychology not only in sport.

Mgr. Alois Polák

Physiotherapist.

 

  • Completion of education

Course participants will receive an electronic certificate of attendance and training.

 

  • Price of the training program

The lecture is organized free of charge.

 

  • Registration

Sign up for the program will begin 19 November 2024 via the online application form. Students of selected partner educational institutions will be automatically enrolled through the Lifelong Learning Centre of the VŠPJ.
