LECTURERS

 Mgr. Lucie Poláková

External worker with more than thirteen years of experience (VŠPJ - Department of Health Studies and Department of Social Work, University of the Third Age). Fields of work: lecturer of courses - art therapy, basics of psychology, paths to mental health, art therapy in NJ. Long professional experience: art therapist in aftercare facilities with drug addicts and alcoholics, in homes for the elderly, collaborator of Senior Point of the Vysočina Region, with the organization Sharing, o. s. (home care and home hospice in Telč), with the Centre for the Disabled of the Vysočina Region, with the Vysočina Region (lectures for the public).  Extensive experience with maternity centres (art therapy with children with ADHD), with foster families, with the organization of camps for families with children, volunteering at the Department of Health and Social Services. Oncology of the skin in the Jihlava hospital (art therapy for patients) and cooperation with ODN in the Jihlava hospital.  Privately, he plays classical guitar, painting, drawing, photography and philosophy. 

 Mgr. Jana Gabrielová, PhD.

Mgr. Jana Gabrielová, PhD. has been working as an academic at the Polytechnic University of Jihlava since 2015. She teaches mainly social gerontology and geriatrics, minority groups and social work methods. She is co-author of five professional books, one methodology and a number of professional articles. She has participated in several research projects in the social field (e.g. projects focused on hearing defects in the elderly or social determinants of health in foreigners living in the South Bohemia Region). As part of her long-standing volunteer activity, she has been involved in memory training for the elderly.
