What is slow tourism? And how do we travel to enjoy our holidays as much as possible, while leaving no damage to the environment and unique local culture? Not only these questions will be answered by RNDr. Mgr. Stanislava Pachrová, Ph.D., an academic at the Department of Tourism of the University of Applied Sciences and a graduate of environmental geography. During the interview for the 29th episode of the Polytechnicast podcast, she will also talk about the international project Slow Tourism Management, in which the Department of Tourism is involved and which focuses on an interesting phenomenon.
The 29th episode of the Polytechnicast podcast is part of the European Sustainable Development Week programme at the University of Applied Sciences and Technology. This pan-European initiative, supported by the European Sustainable Development Network, aims to raise the profile of projects and activities promoting sustainable development and its principles.
