British Council Examination Centre will celebrate 5 March 2022 its 10th anniversary 10 years since its launch at the Polytechnic College Jihlava. On the occasion of this anniversary, we decided to invite for an interview RNDr. Jitka Ryškova, the head of the examination centre, who not only stood at its foundation, but has been involved in its development throughout its operation. She will tell you that the story of the Jihlava exam centre began much earlier than 10 years ago and was similarly convoluted as her journey to English, which she got to in a roundabout way through chemistry, mathematics and her love of puns. You'll also learn about all that has been achieved in the centre's 10-year history, as well as the gift it gave itself for its anniversary. We will also reveal the reasons why English is the language that offers undeniable advantages in today's globalised world.
