Polytechnicast #18: DAVID ŠČERBA AND ONDŘEJ ŠRYTR (Stormware s.r.o.): The most important thing is knowledge and interest

The Polytechnic College Jihlava excels in its focus on practice and skills application and its students complete up to 46 weeks of professional practice during their studies. But how do students' work experience placements literally work in practice? Hopefully, the 18th episode of the Polytechnicast podcast will at least partially answer that question. This time, David Ščerba, director of development at Stormware s.r.o, and Ondřej Šrytr, a third-year student of the Applied Computer Science bachelor's degree program at the Department of Technical Studies at the University of Applied Sciences, accepted our invitation to talk. Ondřej joined a trainee program for students in this software company with headquarters in Jihlava and within a relatively short period of time he developed from the position of a trainee to a permanent employee with an employment contract.
