Annotation:

The aim of the project is to strengthen strategic management, improve the quality of academic staff and educational activities, strengthen ethical principles and promote the VŠPJ on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the project is to promote and strengthen the school's reputation and to celebrate the school's anniversary. The objective will be achieved by developing strategic management capacities including cooperation and exchange of experience with selected universities, development and implementation of tools for evaluation of pedagogical work of academic staff and other evaluation toolsrjiwalls, prshows, exhibitions, roundtables, conferences and other events to promote the school on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.

Improvement of strategic management and increase of quality management of educational activities at the VŠPJ will be achieved, among other things, by innovating relevant modules in the infor andch system in the field of data systematization and obtaining required outputs for strategic decision-making and planning.

Annotation:

The project will focus on developing and optimizing the work environment with an emphasis on human resources. The activities will be implemented within the framework of 4 objectives:

1.Equal Pay Strategy

.

An analysis will be conducted in the areas of equal pay for each type of academic position, the associated revision of the internal pay code and subsequent submission for approval. In discussion with other HEIs, addressing performance criteria and proposing a link between the remuneration system and other project objectives.

2.Career System Settings

.

In the framework of cooperation of HEIs, participation in the analysis of possible ways to address the issue of tenure for professors and associate professors, discussion on generational renewal, career attenuation. Within the framework of setting up a career system, propose the identification of talents and activities related to their development.

3.System and Implementation of Staff Appraisal

.

The existing academic staff appraisal system will be revised, and during the course of the project it is anticipated that the implementation of an extension to this system will begin, focusing on soft skills or individual learning needs in order to maximise the potential of the staff member. Analysis of the possibility of using some components of the academic appraisal system for other non-academic positions.

4.Implementation of the policy of reconciling private and working life and strengthening a safe and stimulating working environment

. Analysis of the current state of work-life balance, setting rules for the return of an employee after a long-term absence, sharing good practice in discussion with other HEIs
