Centralised development projects implemented in 2018

Build on the previous CRP "Project Partnership" project, expanding the existing network of collaborating HEIs.

1. Enable participating HEIs to share good practice in project process issues for a specific topic/challenge.
2. To create four expert blocks consisting of working groups of project and other departments concerned with project processes.
3. Support a unified communication environment for the network of collaborating HEI centres.
4. Enhance individual settings for effective project and grant management in the participating HEIs
.

Outputs:

   1. Project meetings - participation in 4 meetings of 2-3 HEI staff each, networking and roundtables
   2. Communication platform - common communication environment (chat, documents, FAQ, etc.)

This project aims to provide a central solution for the problematic areas related to the employment of foreign workers and the posting of university staff to work abroad. The most important activities of universities in the field of internationalization of human resources are precisely the recruitment of academic, research and development  staff and other employees involved in the creative activities of universities from abroad. At the same time, universities are preparing to send their staff to work abroad in view of the increasing mobility of staff.

The project concerns the transition to a new structure of study programmes in connection with the abolition of study fields, preparation for the accreditation of study programmes, institutional accreditation of the field of education, accreditation of habilitation procedures and procedures for the appointment of professors in accordance with Government Regulation No. 274/2016 Coll., on standards for accreditation in higher education. Furthermore, the project concerns the fulfilment of the requirements set out in generally binding legal regulations or instructions of state administration bodies regulating the internal organisation and systems of higher education institutions and the requirements set out in the internal regulations of public higher education institutions regulating their organisation and activities.

The Czech universities operate three economic information systems: iFIS, EIS Magion, SAP. Groups of schools operating each system have built organizational structures (cooperation networks) and mechanisms aimed at sharing know-how and capacities and managed communication with suppliers.
The intention for 2018 is to make targeted use of these links and functional cooperation across all HEIs and to implement the development of the three systems in areas of common interest on the basis of joint analyses and solution proposals, i.e. to make the most effective use of the available professional, capacity and financial resources of HEIs.

The aim of the project in 2018 is to expand the partner network of schools by additional public universities and to develop a common online space Universitas for sharing and exchange of experience, especially in the field of optimization of the system of quality assurance and evaluation of educational, creative and other related activities, as well as mutual exchange of experience in the transition of Czech public universities to the new structure of study programmes and accreditation system in connection with the implementation of the amendment to the Higher Education Act. The sharing of experiences between universities and discussions across the academic community with the involvement of key bodies (MoEYS, NAU) and existing representations (CKR, RSC), and the networking in other areas such as communication with the wider interested public, popularisation of science, internationalisation, etc. brings a synergistic effect to the fulfilment of long-term goals in the field of higher education policy in the Czech Republic.
