Education for Competitiveness Programme

The objective of the OP CoE in the EU programming period 2007-2013 is the development of an educational society in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the Czech Republic through the modernisation of the systems of initial, tertiary and further education, their integration into a comprehensive system of lifelong learning and the improvement of conditions in research and development.

VŠPJ uses mainly calls under Priority Axis 2 - Tertiary Education, Research and Development, in the support areas 2.2 Higher Education, 2.3 Human Resources in Research and Development and 2.4 Partnerships and Networks. It also uses the calls related to support area 3.2 Support for continuing education to deepen its lifelong learning offer. Since the start of the implementation of the OP CoR in the Czech Republic, the VŠPJ has submitted 10 projects, of which 5 have been successful.

Operational Programme European Territorial Cooperation Austria - Czech Republic

The aim of cross-border cooperation programmes is the economic and social integration of border areas by removing existing barriers and strengthening their development potential. The OP European Territorial Cooperation Austria - Czech Republic aims to support projects focused on the following priority axes:

• Socio-economic development, tourism and know-how transfer
• Regional Accessibility and Sustainable Development
• Technical assistance

The University of Applied Sciences and Technology has submitted three projects in cooperation with Austrian universities and all three have been approved and are currently being implemented.
