Weather at VŠPJ

The weather at VŠPJ has been measured by a meteorological station since the beginning of the 2017/2018 academic year. Its use is not only for teaching and scientific purposes, knowledge of the weather is also necessary for unmanned systems - drones, which VŠPJ operates.

Knowing the weather at the VŠPJ in advance can also be useful for visitors going to Jihlava, or for non-Jihlava students going to an exam and wondering what to wear.

Meteorological data will be stored in a database at regular intervals, thus ensuring continuous measurements over a longer period. The stored and up-to-date meteorological data is also planned to be used for regional weather forecasting, where suitable algorithms would be used for the calculation.
