The Board of Trustees is a body of a public university whose competence includes, in particular, the issuance of prior written consent to legal transactions by which the university intends to acquire or transfer ownership of immovable or movable property, by which the HEI intends to establish an easement or other right in rem or a right of pre-emption, and for legal acts by which the HEI intends to establish, dissolve or convert another legal entity and for contributions in cash or in kind to these and other legal entities. The Board of Trustees, after approval by the Academic Senate, discusses the report on the internal evaluation of the quality of the educational, creative and related activities of the public higher education institution, approves its budget, strategic plan and discusses the annual reports on the activities and management of the public higher education institution.
The competences of the Board of Trustees are determined by Act No. 111/1998 Coll. (the Higher Education Act), and its deliberations are governed by the Statute of the Board of Trustees of the Public Higher Education Institution
The next regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the VŠPJ will take place during the summer semester 2024/2025 in the meeting room of the Rector of the VŠPJ, Tolstého 16, Jihlava.
