Disciplinary Committee

The Disciplinary Committee is a self-governing body of a public higher education institution that hears disciplinary offences of students of the school and submits a proposal for a decision to the Rector.

The competence of the Disciplinary Committee is determined by Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Other Acts (the Higher Education Act), and its proceedings are governed by the Disciplinary Regulations for Students of the Public Higher Education Institution.

The members of the Disciplinary Committee of the College of Polytechnics shall be appointed and dismissed by the Rector from among the members of the academic community of the college after prior approval of the Academic Senate of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. Half of the members of the Disciplinary Committee of the College of Polytechnics shall be students. The Disciplinary Committee of the college elects and dismisses its chairperson from among its members. The term of office of the members of the Disciplinary Committee of the College of Polytechnics shall not exceed two years.
