Regional hospitals visited the simulation classrooms of the College of Polytechnics

During their visit, they looked, for example, into the simulation room of the delivery room equipped with models of newborns and mothers. They had the opportunity to experience the interactive features of the realistic models, which allow the students to practice caring for the mother at all times of labour, managing labour or, for example, resuscitating the newborn and other tasks. They also visited an intensive care unit simulation room equipped with adult patient simulators.

Modernly equipped classrooms of the delivery room and intensive care unit have been in operation at the VŠPJ since September 2024. The nearly 17 million CZK equipment, which is co-financed by the support of the National Renewal Plan within the project "Transformation of the educational activities of the VŠPJ in response to the current needs of the labour market", allows students to try out real procedures on real devices.
