International Tourist Guide Day 2025: Discover Jihlava from a new perspective

This is the ninth time the College of Polytechnics has joined the celebration of International Tourist Guide Day. The Department of Travel and Tourism of the College of Polytechnics, the Travel Agency of the College of Polytechnics, the School of Economics and Tourism Jihlava and Brána Jihlavy, p. o., participate in the tours.

The tour for children will start at 10.00 a.m., and the traditional tours at 1.00 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. Each tour will last 1.5 hours. The starting point is the lobby of the main building of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava (Tolstého 16).

The tour routes include both well-known and unusual places in Jihlava. You will visit the Smetana Orchards, the Church of the Holy Spirit, the Ježek Brewery, Gustav Mahler Park, the Gate of Holy Mother and many other historical sites, including the Virgin Mary's Ascension Church of the Minorite Order and the Silver House (with free admission for those registered).
