The absolute winners of the Accounting Competition were the students of the Gymnasium and Business Academy Pelhřimov

On January 9, 2025, the College of Polytechnics Jihlava organized, under the auspices of the Rector of the VŠPJ, doc. Ing. Zdeněk Horák, Ph.D., and with the support of VŠPJ's strategic partner - GORDIC spol. s r.o., the 11th edition of the Accounting Competition for high school pupils.

Of the 14 competing teams, the first place went to students from the Gymnasium and Business Academy Pelhřimov, the second place went to competitors from Bráf Academy Třebíč and the third place went to the team from the Business Academy, VŠZ and SZŠ, SOŠS Jihlava. The winning team from Pelhřimov broke the record success rate from last year and became the absolute winner of this year's competition throughout its implementation.

The competition was also attended by students from the Technical and Economic Secondary School in Chotěbor, the Neveklov Business Academy, the Otokar Březina Gymnasium and the Secondary Vocational School in Telč, the Žďár nad Sázavou Secondary School of Industry and the SČMSD Secondary School of Commerce and Services, Žďár nad Sázavou, s.r.o.

Lenovo tablets were prepared for the winning team. The exclusive sponsor of the eleventh year of the competition was the strategic partner of the VŠPJ - GORDIC spol. s r.o. The prizes for the competition were also donated by the College of Polytechnics Jihlava.

The Department of Economic Studies of the College of Polytechnics Jihlava will organize the event again next year. The 12th edition of the accounting competition for students of the fourth year of secondary vocational schools will take place in January 2026.
