For the second time, VŠPJ supported the Mládí Humpolec competition for the most versatile pupil and student of the town

A total of 47 talented pupils and students from the Hradská Primary School, Hálkova Primary School, Dr. A. Hrdlička Gymnasium, the Secondary School of Informatics and Tourism of the Czech Republic, the Czech Academy of Agriculture and the Gustav Mahler School of Music and Performing Arts won prizes in the competition. The absolute winner of the 22nd edition was a student of the gymnasium Magdaléna Křížová, who won the title in a strong competition last year. The ZUŠ Gustav Mahler Humpolec took care of a varied cultural program during the evening.

For the second time, prizes were awarded in the High Card category, sponsored by the College of Polytechnics Jihlava. Nominated students from secondary schools in Humpolec were given material prizes and a unique opportunity to become a college student for one day as a mock test. The two winners were presented with awards and vouchers, which will allow them to attend lectures and exercises, see the school and meet not only the students and teachers, but also their friends, by Iveta Slancová, Vice-Rector for Development, Strategy and Quality at the VŠPJ.

The Youth Competition, whose long-standing goal is to develop education in the city and support talented pupils and students of Humpolec, was established in 2001 on the initiative of the Bernard Family Brewery, a.s., and the City of Humpolec. The main organizer was the Municipal Cultural and Information Centre in Humpolec.

The partners of the 22nd year of the competition were, College of Polytechnic Jihlava, CA Adores, Jan Zábrana Bookstore, Lakum - Galma, a.s., STATUS stavební, a.s., SMIP spol. s r.o., and Théra BarberShop.
