AI days for All revealed the fascinating world of artificial intelligence
The VŠPJ Learning Centre came alive on Friday 18 October 2024 with the AI Days for All event. The lecture and discussion series on AI in education, research and creative industries focused on the fundamentals of machine learning and neural networks, including chat-bots, and showcased how these technologies are transforming industry, healthcare and other sectors.
The series of lectures took place under the banner of the AI Days 2024 event in cooperation with the college of Polytechnics Jihlava, CzechInvest and Vysočina Education and the Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists. It included presentations by academic staff of the Department of Technical Studies Ing. Jan Mittner, Ph.D. with a presentation dedicated to an introduction to the world of machine learning and neural networks, Ing. Lenka Kuklišová Pavelková, Ph.D. with a lecture focused on the history and functioning of chatbots and Ing. Jan Zbirovský, who presented the use of AI in practice. Hoang Linh Phanová also spoke, who introduced the participants to the creative possibilities of using artificial intelligence.
