First year students successfully started their university studies by creating a timetable

On 10 September 2024, students of the first year of full-time and combined studies of Bachelor's and Continuing Master's degree programmes filled the VŠPJ Training Centre. As part of the fourth annual Freshmen Schedule Creation Day, they created their first university schedule with the support of departmental representatives and a scheduler.

The afternoon program was opened by Vice Chancellor for Studies Eng. Martina Kuncová, Ph.D. After welcoming the participants, introducing the representatives of the departments and providing the most important information about the school and studies, the briefing by the scheduler followed. The freshmen then divided into groups by individual departments and made their schedule for the winter semester.

The timetable development process continues in accordance with the Course Registration and Timetable Development Schedule for ZS 2024/2025 available in the VŠPJ/Schedule Information System. Online consultation hours with the scheduler are available to answer additional questions about schedule development. They will take place on 12 and 13 September 2024, each from 16.00-18.00. All students will receive a link to join by email no later than 11 September 2024.

The programme of the event also included a tour of the school's facilities and individual departments or an afternoon activity of the Student Union of the University of Applied Sciences called "Where to get out of boredom with the University of Applied Sciences or get to know the best student places in Jihlava."
