The POLYFiK Film Club will present the film Coffee Future (Czech Republic, 2024) for students and staff of the VŠPJ and the general public.
This documentary film presents the lives of coffee growers in Latin America who face not only low farmgate prices and rising costs, but also the uncertainty of a good harvest. This is exacerbated by the effects of climate change. Climate change is projected to halve the area suitable for growing Arabica coffee by 2050.
Admission is free. No registration is required for the event.
