Students of the Jihlava Grammar School visited the laboratories of the University of Applied Sciences
The Jihlava Polytechnic College was visited by students of the Jihlava Gymnasium on Friday, 3 May 2024 as part of the project days. Around 40 students were divided into three groups and successively toured selected laboratories, where they were guided by professional staff from the Department of Technical Studies of the University of Applied Sciences.
On Friday, May 3, 2024, the Polytechnic College Jihlava welcomed students from the nearby Gymnasium Jihlava. "In the CP factors, the students got acquainted with the functioning of the production line and were shown how to communicate on such a line. In the Laboratory of Experimental Measurements, Ing. Karel Dvořák, Ph.D., showed them the torsion test and familiarized them with the operation of the laboratory. The last laboratory visited was the classroom for teaching electricity. Here the students verified Ohm's law, tried to measure the resistance of a rheostat and learned how to take readings from measuring devices", said the deputy head of the Department of Technical Studies of the VŠPJ, Mgr. Hana Vojáčková, Ph.D.
