National Chin-Yi University of Technology (NCUT) is located in Taichung, Taiwan and works closely with Taiwan's top technology leaders in the fields of semiconductors, precision machining, robotics and AI. The international cooperation, which is expected to start this year, will offer both universities new impetus for development and new academic and cultural experiences for students and teachers. The mutual partnership will also help strengthen relations between the two countries."Based on the memorandum of understanding, our students and staff will have the opportunity to go on an experience trip to Taiwan. This will open up not only a wide range of opportunities for cooperation in the exchange of students and academic staff, but also for cooperation on joint research and development projects," said Zdeněk Horák, Rector of the VŠPJ.
The signing of the Memorandum, which was also attended by a delegation of the Vysočina Region headed by the Governor Vítězslav Schrek, was also made possible thanks to the above-standard relations between the Czech Republic and Taiwan, which have long been maintained by the current President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and former Governor of the Vysočina Region Miloš Vystrčil.
