Dana Drábová lectured on nuclear energy at the VŠPJ

After an introductory word by the Rector of the VŠPJ Zdeněk Horák, Linda Navrátilová, Strategic Recruitment Specialist of the ČEZ Group from the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, started the presentation. She introduced the students present to a number of interesting projects and other activities in which they can participate, such as the Nuclear Baccalaureate.

This was followed by a lecture by Dr. Dana Drábová, in which she presented not only the current percentage of nuclear electricity in the world, but also other indicators related to nuclear energy, including forecasts for future years, through illustrative graphs. During the presentation, she also touched on the topic of Europe and the European Union in relation to climate commitments and talked about the advantages and disadvantages of different types of power plants in relation to climate. "Nuclear energy can serve us well, it can help us solve the energy conundrum we have been presented with. Whether this will be the case depends on us, but most importantly on you," Dr. Drábová concluded her presentation to the audience. After the lecture, there were also questions from the audience and a short discussion.
