The doors of VŠPJ opened twice at the beginning of February to all those interested

On both days in February, a rich programme awaited those interested in the historical part of the VŠPJ building and other areas of the school. In the school's lobby and in the premises, prospective students had the opportunity to have fun at the infopoints of the individual departments with current students of the VŠPJ, and thus get acquainted with all the details of their studies. There was also a stand of the British Council Examination Centre in Jihlava, where visitors could test their English level for free, the infopoint of the International Department or the stand of the VŠPJ Travel Agency. Those interested could also join the accompanying programme and try out, for example, slalom with drunken glasses and wheelchair handling, or race on the cross-country trainer and enter the competition for a voucher to the fitness centre. An economics quiz or a competition mystery on the theme of the VŠPJ also offered the opportunity to compete for prizes.

Comprehensive information about the studies was also provided to the applicants by presentations of the individual departments and study programmes, which took place in the historical auditorium, as well as in the P3 and P4 lecture halls or in the ZDR1 health sciences classroom. The individual classrooms also served as starting points for group departmental tours. For example, participants who chose the tour route focused on technical programs learned about 3D printing and the unique equipment of the experimental measurement laboratory, and they also visited the cyber-physics factory in the basement of the learning center. The medical tour, in turn, gave a glimpse into the medical classrooms, which simulate a hospital environment and are equipped with anatomically accurate models of the human body. During the tours, visitors were also able to see the 2020 extension of the teaching centre with a large capacity auditorium, the library or the relaxation room, which was opened at the VŠPJ last year.
