On November 16, 2023, on the eve of Mesa and Day of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy, Hundred&Acute&NÍ Lights at the KLÍ&Cho took place in Jihlava. The event, which was organized by the Highá škola polytechnická Jihlava together with the Society for theá priceí of the TGM statue in Jihlava, commemorated two importantá eventsá of moderná Czechoslovaké history. November 17, 1939, when the Nazis closed down the Czeché universities and corrected the patriotic students, and 17. November 1989, when a demonstration on theýanniversary of theýlostý of 1939 grew into a protest against the communistýregime and theýlast Velvet Revolution.
30, a parade carrying candles, torches, lanterns and otherší lights of about 70 students and staff of VŠPJ and fromširoké the public, arrived to theálu of the Czechýmlýna. Here, úfrequentámeetingání, amongýwhom was, for example, theáchairman of the Senátu Miloš Vystrčil, the rector of VŠPJ Zdenek Horák, the minister for legislation Michal Šalomouna, or Hana Hajnová, the deputy governor of the Highlands Region, laid lights and flowers at the memorial of the Klítník. Around 5 p.m., the meeting wasání concluded and the parade made its way back to VŠPJ.
