The HUMANITAS conference brought together practitioners, students and academics from the field of health and social care
The Department of Socialální práce of VŠPJ held a meeting on Wednesday 20. On Wednesday, October 2023, the 8th annual conference dedicated to health-socialální pétion. In the crowded historic auditorium, students and academics discussed the pressing issues.
At this yearšnís annual conference, attention was paid to, for example, childrenšs hospiceé care, sexální assistance, homeác´cé and twoševeís diseases. The peer lecturers VŠPJ Magda Dosbabová and Petr Salomon shared their own experience with duševná disease. There was also a practicalý náexercise „mindfulness“, whichý ú was presented to the úfrequentípeople by VŠPJ graduate Bc. Milan Petříček.
Among the invitedýspeakers were fromágrads from Focus Highlands, Chronicare Mund, Ltd.o, the Wolf Family Foundation and Sila Jihlava – Komunitního centra. Refreshments were provided by the clients of the Sasov Integration Centre.„It&'s very nás youší that this year the graduates of the Health & Socialílní Workersš at V&Scaron performed in the role of leadingáícís;PJ, and that the conference contributesá to a deepá connectioná not only of the universitiesá šcolleges with the applicationá sphereá but also of the individualý organizationsá with each other.“ said Mgr. Martina Černá, Ph.D. from the Department of Socialá práce.
