VŠPJ celebrated its birthday with sports and the opening of a relaxation room for students

The celebration of the 19th year of the šcola started this year already on June 1, at Masaryk nácityí in Jihlava, where the traditional event Sportujeme s VŠPJ 2023 took place. No one from last year's annual competition of the Central ššschool of industrial, technical á and automotive ´ Jihlava won the championship and the cup went to the Central ššschool of public ´ Trivis Jihlava. In the institutional tournament, the championship was then defended by a team from the Vysočina Region. Tým VŠPJ fromískal nicelyé thirdí míhundred. After the end of the tournament, the št could play a fullá photoá lesson in a larger than lifeá size soá inštheirá people from the široké public. There were otherší sportsí disciplinesí such as climbingá wall, hockey, baseball, softball, taekwondo, and cyclingér.

From Friday, June 2 through Sunday, June 4. June, the Sports with VŠPJ 2023 event continued at the baseballém game in the sports complex of the ZŠ Otokar Březina and ZŠ Demlova, where took place the nullý annual international baseball tournament Memoriál Rector Ladislav Jirků – VŠPJ Cup. In the finalále of the tournament Brnoští Hroši finally beat Jihlavaé Ježky 8:0, and so the Rector's Cup of Jirka went to Brno. The Široká public had the opportunity to tryšet baseballé disciplines such as boatingý running, throwing for accuracy or catchá baseball gloveí during the tournaments.

The Sportujeme s VŠPJ 2023 event was financially supported by the Vysočina Region and the Statutární city of Jihlava. Theáštitu over ití was taken over by the Governor of the Vysočina Region Vítězslav Schrek and the Mayor of Jihlava Petr Ryška. 

On Monday, June 5, the students and staff of školy gathered together in the školy lobby to symbolically wish VšPJ the best. Rector Zdeněk Horák cut the birthdayý cake and inaugurated the relaxation místroom for students. This will be available for students to relax and socialize during the &scaroná time of &scaroná opening. The restá m´ area is located on the m´ wall of the „Staré buffet“.

Highá škola polytechnická Jihlava was awarded the 3. June 2004 as the first public college in the Czech Republic and is the only public college with a šschool in the Vysočina Region.
