How can we use our own experience with recovering from dual&scaroní&illness in educationá&ní? And what do lecturers, students, or peopleé withé experiencešenceí with duševní difficulties or their blí make of suché vý? These are not the only questions that will be the focus of the Peer Lecturers in Science conference, which will take place on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, in the historic PJ auditorium.
After the opening ceremony of the conference by the Rector of VŠPJ Zdeněk Horák presented PhDr. Vlasta Řezníková, Ph.D. from the Department of Socialáí práce project Innovation and development of courses focused on du&scaron´ healthí, whose aim is to expand the number of peer lecturers involved in the Výýý& teaching at VŠPJ as well as the supply of courses for students and the public. Dir. Dick Scaron, the leading author of a recovery-oriented approach, who explains how to work with peer tutors in the Netherlands. The rámce of the conference program included students of the department of social práce, who shared their experience in working with peer tutors or project partners Centre for the Development of péif o duševní healthí and the Norwegian city of Bergen,“ uvádí Vlasta Rezníková. At the conference, there will be a workshop with the theme Researching mental health as a democratic process, which will take place on Thursday 25 May 2023 at the Arté studio. Bengt Eirik Karlsson and Marit Borg, professors in the field of mental health from the University of Southý&year Norway, will discuss with the ú&year participants of the workshop the possibilities of democraticéiný research thatý allows for equal participation of peopleý with experienced&scaroný, families, practitioners, community members, and seniorý people.
The Peer Educators in the výuce Conference is one of the výstages of the Innovation and Course Development Project focused on duševení Healthá funded by the EEA Funds 2014-2021, Educationá programme. Fromášt of the conferenceí took over the chairwoman of theákonné council of the Association of Educators in Socialální práci Mgr. Adéla Michková, Ph.D.
