Vice-Rector Václav Báča, together with representatives of the city and the region, commemorated the anniversary of the end of World War II

The beginning of May is the Day of Victory, the day that officially marks the end of World War II. On the occasion of this day, at the Úmiddleícemetery in Jihlava, thešdignitaries of theárnícity, region, VŠPJ, militaryéheadquartersíPolice of the Czech Republic and Sokol Jihlava to lay flowers at the statue of Jaroslav Šlezinger Zaváté šlépěj, the memorial to the fallen Soviet soldiers and the memorial plaque on the wall of the Úmiddleécemetery.

The memorial act was organized by the Statáá city of Jihlava in cooperation with the Czech Union of Freedom Fighters. On behalf of the Polytechnic University Jihlava, the act was attended by the Vice-Rector of the VŠPJ Václav Báča.
