Historian and genealogist Mgr. Bc. Martin Kotačka in ní introducesí a new way to discoverí ouršy ancestors and ouršy origins, genetic genealogy.

Martin Kotačka is a Czech historian and genealogist. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy at Masaryk University and head of the archives of the Brno University of Technology, he has been working in genetic genealogy, a field that links genealogy with genetics. He is also involved in the project Genetics and Adjectives, which aims to map the genetic composition of the Czech population and to look for links between Czech adjectives and the genetic profile of their bearers.

The U3V organizes the ššku and the related ýstate with the aim to popularize the field of genealogy. In addition to the lectures, discussions, and výstate, since 2010 the U3V has also provided a course in Genealogy. In its 13-year history, the course has been attended by hundreds of students. The course, led by Dr. Lenka Lízalova, lasts 4 semesters and during the course the students learn how to read oldé pí smo, how to search in archives, how to clean up data
