Jihlava Polytechnic University is a signatory of the Hydrogen Memorandum. The Vysočina Region is preparing for the future use of hydrogen technologies.

Highá škola polytechnická Jihlava is one of the signatories of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field ofýroby, storageání and useání ofání waterýmetalý technologies. The Memorandum was officially signed on Thursday 6 April 2023 in the Highlands Region in Jihlava. The Memorandum was signed on behalf of the Polytechnic University Jihlava by itsí rector doc. Ing. Zdeněk Horák Ph.D.

Memorandum týwhatící is the development of activities in the use of waterí to enable the creation of an opené platform with the name „Waterímetalsá Highlands“ (Hydrogenhills). Other&scaron& í entities thaté deal withý waterý metalý technologies or haveá interest iná bringingá them into practice can also participate.  

The Memorandum of Cooperation was officially signed by the Governor of Vysočina Region Mgr. Vítezslav Schrek. MBA, the Mayor of Jihlava Mgr. Petr Ryškou, rector of VŠPJ doc. Ing. Zdeněk Horákem Ph.D., executive director of JIPOCAR Power Ing. Jiřím Vybíhall and the CEO of SmartPlan Ing. Tomá&&scaron&em Janča, MBA.

For the Polytechnic College, the memorandum is both a knowledge &ý in  research &ý and in  socialý responsibility &ý and partnership &ý with  other&scaron&&&ý acts in the county. „We join the Memorandum as an educationalávací and výzkumná institution, recognizing theýsignificance of theýcí emergingý platform with regard to energy sustainability and šetrný contribution to the environment. Cooperation with partners in the region of the Vysočina Region is key in this direction,“ said the rector of the polytechnic college Jihlava doc. Ing. Zdeněk Horák Ph.D.

The signatories of the memorandum declareá toá cooperate on professionalá questionsá in connection with the use ofá waterá and waterá metalá technologies; and the signing of a memorandum ofá creating aná actioná plan, whichá will include individualá steps thatá theá signatoriesá wantá toá implementá in nbspnbspnbspnbsptheá followingá 12á months.

The Czechá republic, together with other memberý countries, has committed to achieve climate neutrality for the EU by the year 2050 and one of the possible climate neutrality by the yacute;The use of water and the associated water technologies as part of the Czech Republic's strategy is one of the ways to achieve this ambition.
