VŠPJ will participate in Brain Week 2023

In the rá škola polytechnicá Jihlava in rámce of the Týday of the brain of the CAS 2023 will present in úterý 14. March an online workshop Einstein's hádank and  gave logicé ú úlies for exercising the brain. The workshop will take place from 10.00 to 10.45 online via the MS Teams HERE platform. The Úí participants will have the opportunity to exercise their brains and find out if they are among the 2 % most intelligent people in the world. It will allow them to „hádanka“, about whiché prý Einstein claimed that 98% of peopleí notí able tošsolve, even otherší logicalé ú lies, such as the claims of liesá and truthý. The Úlies are based on logicalé thoughtšlení, so no specialální mathematicalé knowledge is needed. After the explanation of the possible solution procedure, the students will be given space to solve their own solutions, communicate with the lecturer or compete with each other.

Úpart&of&the&workshop&will&be&guided&by&the& lecturer Ing. Stanislava Dvořáá ková, Ph.D., whoá teaches variousá mathematicalé and statisticalé subjects andá classes of computer science at the College of Polytechnicé Jihlava. After studying at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Brno and during her internship at the VŠPJ, she started to be interested in practical work; useý of mathematics and itsý application toý femaleý students, mainly on various simpleý &scaron& &scaron& í practically orientedý problems.
