International Guides' Day presented well-known and lesser-known places of Jihlava

The Department of Tourism at VŠPJ joined the celebration of the International Guides' Day for the seventh time. Five students of this department, together with five students of the School of Economics and Tourism Jihlava, took on the role of guides in the rámce. Alice Šedivá Necká, Ph.D., an academicá staff member in the Department of Tourism. At 1 p.m., theáees then set off from theáucationécenter for a two-hour traditionalád tour. In the rárámce of the two sightseeing tádecks, the participants climbed the Bránu of the Mother of Godá and visited several churches in Jihlava. The non-traditional tour through the streets of Jihlava ended at the Jihlava Town Hall, while the traditional afternoon tourers could also visit its interior.

The unique opportunity to learn about the sights of the historic centre was taken advantage of by more than five dozen people despite the cold weather. The Department of Tourism will continue its involvement in the International Guides' Day in 2024. „Overští year´ to má we fully change the navští outé objects.
