Open Day attracted not only applicants for studies

This January, the doors of the Polytechnic College Jihlava were opened to the students twice. In rámci Day of opený doorsí, whichý took place on Thursday 26th January and on Saturday 28th January.

On both days of January, aá richý program awaited fromá theá premises of theá historicá part of theá VŠPJ building. In the lobby of the šcollage, prospectiveá students and students in the stáncíindividualýdepartments had the opportunity to talk to students or academicýworkers, and learnáem details about their studies. There was also a British Council testing centre in Jihlava, where students could test their English for free, as well as an infopoint of the intercultural centre; Comprehensiveé information about studies was then provided to the applicants by presentations of individualý departments about theý availableý study programmes in the historicé auditorium. Those interested in the technicalé programs took advantage of theé opportunity to hear a lecturer focus on the opportunities thaté offeré study in the Department of Technicalé Studies.

Theávštees´déd theáotherš´spacesšcolleges&and&during&the&groupýdecks&they&explored&classrooms&andárns&or&professional&laboratories. The students who chose a tour focused on technical programs, for example, learned about 3D printing and uniká&tnn;equipment in the experimentalálnámeasurementálab&and&went&into&the&cyber&physicsálnáfactoryároom&in&the&basement&of&theýlearning¢er. Healthá pro´ proá dication for zá females on the fields of Midwifeá assistant and Vše generalá nurse offersá for the possibility to tryšmassáity of the heart on an anatomically accurateémodel and in rámce of the examinationádecks there was also an opportunity to test their physical fitness. On Thursday, January 26, the candidates skated with a student of the Travel & Tourism program and junior hockey player Matěj Kravec on a special slide training in the classroom of movementých activities and on Saturday, January 28. January, they tried out their skills on a cycling training course with Josef Kunášk, a student of the first year of Applied Mechanical Engineering.
