Interest in international English exams at VŠPJ is growing

The British Council's VŠPJ Examinationééé centre will hold an interáé cambridgeské examination in Englishé in December. There is a greatá interest amongst the students of the secondary šcolleges and the termsá are filling up fast. In fact, it is possible to have the exams that students take before the end of the year recognised as a foreign language exam in the spring at some colleges as part of the graduation profile.

Cambridgeské exams in Englishé and for úlevel B1, which was organized by British Council Examination Centre at VŠPJ on Saturday 12. November 2022, attracted to the building of the onlyé šcolleges in Highlands Region, especiallyéto students of secondaryšcolleges. The B1 level, i.e. intermediate, is already recognized in some ýcolleges as the equivalent of the foreign language exam in the profile épart of the matriculation. For the ú& exam, C1 (Advanced), which will take place on 3. December, so far 34 of theáy students have registered and for the B2 (First) exam with theán´n deadline of December 10, 60 of theáy students are currently registered. The ústnátakers for the VšPJ appreciate the ústnást probáhá on the sameý day as theý day of theý semná, which is notý usual in allšešmetalý centres. A great advantage is that for the listening part, high quality hearing aids are used, which allow better understanding of the spoken word. The high level of organisation of the tests was confirmed by the Cambridge inspector.
