VŠPJ joins the collection organized on the occasion of the War Veterans Day

Hundreds of places across the Czech Republic will be able to show the wolf flower in November;and pay tribute to veterans and other heroes. The publicé collectioné wasé organizedé by non-profité organizationé Post Bellum on the occasion of Veteransé Dayé 11. November, this year for the first time joins the Highá škola polytechnická Jihlava. Students and employees of the VŠPJ can from November 1, 2022 contribute a recommended ýcontribution of 30 CZK to the ýwallé cash box at the vrátnici školy. Theýweight of theý collection will support theý recordingý ofý witnesses for the Memory of the národa archive.
The wolfámák flowers covered the graves of soldiers killed on the front and therefore became a symbol of Windálecturers' Day, which is celebrated worldwide on 11. November. Throughout the month of November, peopleé cané them atérkýrkýstalls– inérkárkácafes, libraries, shops or publicérkáinstitutions‐ acrosséthe&country.
 
For the public fundraiser, which has already been organized by eight non-profit Post Bellum, is joined this year for the first time ever by the Highá škola polytechnická Jihlava. Students and employees of VŠPJ can enjoy the úterý 1. The collection can be supported online at denveteran.cz or by buying mácks at the Memories of the Národa e-shop.
 
 

Funds raised from the fundraiser will go to help with everyday concerns provided by the Memory Help Center for heroes and other memorials. The money will also be used for the documentation and preservation of their stories, which the Post Bellum organization has been working on for over twenty years as part of the Memory of Ná project. Its archive contains more than 13,000 memorials of veterans of the World War II, political prisoners, resistance fighters, dissidents and many others.
