Academic Day informally kicked off the new semester

On Wednesday, October 5, the traditional opening of the academic year at the Polytechnic College Jihlava with the Academic Day took place. Theástí program included workshops for students. The Department of Socialální práce presented "Volunteer – Egoist or Altruist?" during a workshop on volunteering. The benefits of volunteering as well as the opportunities to get involved in different areas. There was also the experience of students and staff who are active volunteers themselves. The workshop "With Erasmus to the World" presented the possibilities of international mobility and study abroad to the students. The students, who shared their experiences of the Erasmus+ programme, shared their experiences of their studies in Spain and Portugal. The mostší fromá side of the students was about the workshop of the Counseling & Career Center of VŠPJ with theácall "How to study with úlaughter.. or at least not get sick of it", which confirms the growing interest in the field of mental health. The music program was provided by DJ Patrick and the bands BeneBend and Funkin’ Your Soul.

Oneý department competed in a competitive týmové únické game. During the Academic &é Day, the launch of the XR-Buggy – took place asý a studenté project of the Department of Technical &ý Studies. The aim of the project was to design the structure, create a complete design and documentation and to realize the final assembly of the vehicle. The XR-Buggy was christened by Rector Zdeněk Horák together with Dominik Gö, head of the implementation team;ttler, Radek Seemann(ALFA IN) and David Zejda(Kärcher), some of theást sponsors who, along with VŠPJ studentý supported the project.
