VŠPJ hosted the second part of the cross-border seminar Museum and Tourism

On the týday from 27 June to 1 July 2022, a kindánoást of the cross-border Austrian-Czechéseminaráin the Vysočina Region took place. Theást´ seminará was alsoá aá threeá dayá block of lecturesá š on the grounds of the š š College of Polytechnicé Jihlava. The seminar was implemented in cooperation with the VŠPJ, Johann Kepler University in Linz, the Association of Upper Austrian Museums and the destination agency Vysočina Tourism as part of the activities of the project Interreg AT-CZ Digitalization in Tourism.

 

On týday from June 27 to 1. July 2022, a kindá noá of cross-border Austrian-Czechá seminará of „Museum and travel´ tourism“ took place in the Highlands Region. The seminar is part of the activities of the project ATCZ217 – Cooperation of institutions in the Highlands and Upper Austria in support of increased&scaronání skills in the field of digitalization in culturalíTourism implemented in cooperation with the University of Technology Jihlava, Johann Kepler University in Linz, the Association of Upper Austrian Museums and the destination agency Vysočina Tourism.

Theýcommon&invitation&of&theúhonoredýpartners&is&to&create&a&new&active´ cooperation&of&the&public&institutions&in&the&digital&area&and&contribute&to&improving&the&scaron&ení cooperation;between educationalávacíinstitutions and public service providers in the field of cultural´tourism in the regions of Highlands and Horní Austria. Theý seminará underá the„Museum&and&tourism“ name was intended forá students fromá cultural&tourism&organizations,á museumsá andá galleries. It was thematically linked to the first edition, which took place in autumn 2021 in the cities of Linz and Scaron;týr and was implemented by Austrian partners.  

Úparticipants attended three days of intensive lectures led by Czech lecturers on the premises of the Polytechnic ŠCollege Jihlava. Theášlectures&were&focused&on&effective&use&ofá&ní socialá&lní mé&dií, storytelling, videoí, or linkedý webých pagesánek and sociálních médií. „We are truly overšeni that we, in cooperationáwith ouršAustrianýpartners, have succeeded in creating a seminaráthatáisáin&its&focusáfor&the&practice&of&cultural´institutions. At the time of the new project four years ago, we could not imagine how very current the issue of digitization in crá was;“ says Stanislava Pachrová from  Vysoké školy polytechnické Jihlava, headá manager of the project.

In the course of the next two days of the seminar, several museums and galleries in the Vysočina Region were visited by úíí speakers. The programme of the seminar included institutions that can be considered as examples of good practice in the field of digitization. Theástí of theá programme was theávšteva of the Regionalá Gallery of the Highlands in Jihlava, the Museum of the Highlands Jihlava, the Museum of the Newé Generation in Žďáru nad Sázavou, the Horácké Gallery in Novém Město na Moravě, the Alternátor ecotechnicalécentre in Třebích and Roštejn Castle. „Vysočina má several cultural´ organisationsá whichá are truly pioneering in the field of digitisation,“ saidá Tomáš Čihák of Vysočina Tourism and dodá: „We have managed to implement the program in such a way that we will see the most&scaroní& of them. Austriaští i  whichští úfrequentá seminará participants took away from the Highlands many positiveá impressions and valuableý experiencešenitiesí.“

We consider this to be aýé appreciatedé at&scaroné partnershipé Czech-Austriané cooperation,“ saidá&d´ Stanislava Pachrová.
