Students of the Jihlava Business Academy strengthened their financial literacy in a tournament

The financial literacy tournament was held on the first two days of June at the Jihlava Business Academy with students from three 3.A and  3.B. In the FinGrPlay online strategy game, they became the správe of a family's budget model and triedše how to deal with údisputes and debt. „In the game, the students of the 3ád 3.A. Of the 31 students, 23 finished the tournamentúšmore hastily with an average of 84% in answering the question . The mostú&scaron&scaron& was Natálie Drápalová with 653 points, whoádádádáher in theýsequence to become the overallýwinner of theýtournament,“ saidádá Ing. Lenka Lízalová, Ph.D., teachácí at the Department of Economic Studiesá VŠPJ, and dále continues: „In contrast, out of 27 students th´dy 3.B tournament, only 8 of them completed the úše with 78% správný responses in the questionní. Klotylda Sklenááá was the overall winner in this 3.B with 626 points.“

The top three positions received smallárké items with the VŠPJ logo. Theštheir&competitioní then& took away správné attitudes towards financeí whiché the game has conveyed to them and whiché has come in handy in their lives. „The most powerful impact on the students was the warningání against consumer úbeliefs and easilyá falling into the debté trap,“ shares Dr. Lenka Lízalová students' impressions of the tournament.
