Senate President Vystrčil introduced students to the role of the Senate in today's society

The meeting of the President of the Senání of the Parliament of the Czeché Republic Miloše Vystrčil with students dedicated to the role of the Senání society took place on Thursday 19. May 2022 as part of the Economics of the Public Sector course. In the rám of this compulsory electiveém of the Finance and Managementám programme, students learn, among otherém topics, about publicém of elections and publicém of politics.

Since the lastén´ meeting at téma „Senát and Day“, whichén& took place online on 6. April 2021, students had the opportunity to meet with the country's secondým most&scaron& &scaron& ím ústateím official at the V&Scaron& PJ. „In addition to students in the Finance and Management&í program, some V&Scaron& PJ employees and soé students in the Communá course took advantage of the opportunity;lní and regionalá policy in tourism taught at the Department of Tourism,“ uvá dí Ing. Jakub Dostál, Ph.D., teachácí at the Department of Economic Studiesá VŠPJ and organizátor the event. In his ú ú water´ speech, Miloš Vystrčil outlined the individual ú roles of the Sená and highlighted the role of the Sená as an insurance of democracy, whichá has gained greatú importance especially in recent years. It has also dispelled some of the mý mý that have been circulating among the široké public about the Sená. The otherá half&of&the&meeting&was&devoted&to&discussion.

RNDr. Miloš Vystrčil worked at the VŠPJ as an assistant professor from 2009 to 2021, first at the Department of Publicé Administration and Regionalálnná Development, which was dissolved in 2012, and since 2013 at the Department of Economicý Studies. Here he was responsible for the teaching of the course Regionální Development and Development and the elective course Regionální Policy and Development. He has also actively participated in theáinvitations ofápractitioners toáscienceáand the internationaláscientificáconference Competition, where he has often presented. In únor 2020 he was elected President of the Senátu of the Parliament of the Czeché Republic. Although he has already finished hisé teachingé at theé šcollege ofé polytechnicé Jihlava, he often returns to itsí soil. In January of thisšn´year, for example, during hisénáinšthešthe& PJ met with the&rector&ofáclav Bácha.
