That's whatAlois Sassmann, a genealogist, will learn about history and genealogy during a&scaron with náHistory of Jewish names and adjectives, which took place in úterý 17. May 2022 at 3 p.m. in the historicé auditorium of VŠPJ. „During the preá&šction, Mr. Sassmann will, for example, explain the process of assigningá&n& names;, in which those who paid méně were given the derogatory names Vocések, Vohryzek, while those who gave úto the directorík iníce of money, could wear tooínamesí as Rosenberg or Goldstein,“ říká Lenka Lízalová, lecturer of the course Genealogy at the University of the Thirdý&year V&Scaron& PJ (U3V) and teaches at the Department of Economicýý. Mgr. Alois Sassmann is a Czechý publicist, genealogist and Old Catholicý parishý priest whoý is devoted to the problems and history of families, namesý and genetics. He is the author of the book tetralogy Roots of the history of the South Bohemian families, which was written on the basis of;Budejovice on genealogy, searching for family roots and creating family trees. „Listeners of U3V and other&scaron& í ofá people interested in genealogy had theá opportunity to learn about ´ workí Mr. Sassmann back in 2019, when he presented a šPJ with a leading šcall Untouchable . In té he described the buildá and the lives of the executioners, coolý and other&scaron& í impureý permitá and talked about the genealogy of their families,“ with the helpá of Dr. Lízalová.
Ahead of the History of Jewish names and surnames and with the ní associated iný state of the orderá U3V with cí the decision to popularize the field of genealogy. In addition to lectures, discussions, and výstatus, the U3V has also been providing a Genealogy course since 2010. Over its 12-year history, the course has been completed by hundreds of students. The course, led by Dr. Lízalova, lasts 4 semesters and during the course the students learn how to read oldé pí smo, how to search in archives, how to clean up theiré discoveries and create a family database.
