Students from abroad and the Žďár Gymnasium took part in IBW Jihlava 2022

March 2022, the Department of Economic Studies at VŠPJ in cooperation with the city of Telč organized International Business Week (IBW) Jihlava 2022 with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility. PJ are studying in the Erasmus+ programme, for úkol to solveštogether with students of VŠPJ a case study focused on social responsibility of the city of Telc.

The´&point&of&the&Monday&programme&wasá&tasting&of&beers&during&the& tour&of&the&Jihlava&City&City&Council&Brewery. On March 22nd, the úterý ofúterý went to Telč. Apart from a tour of the historical émk and the town hall, they were alsoé ná toá visitá theámástná partnerá businessá entities – Panského Dvůr and Ranče Telč. They had theé opportunity to discuss with the Mayor of Telc Mgr. Vladimírem Brtníkem and businessmen Mgr. Luďek Rux and Ing. Ivan Kren.  at VŠPJ, I was used toý working with students from differentý countries in my pre-collegeé days. I'm very rád that the šrounds in IBW projects continue and very appreciative that ourše city was partástí of thešníe this summer. I thank you for this and already look forward to further cooperation between the town and VŠPJ,“ said the Mayor of Telc Mgr. Vladimír Brtník, whoý from 2017 to 2021 served as the head of the International Department of V&Scaron& PJ. Wednesday's andThursday's program again moved to VŠPJ's VŠPJ Learning Center, where students tackled ašpad study including variousšítypes of analýz. He invited a project that proposed the creation of an educationalávac´center for entrepreneurs in the city.

In addition to foreign students and VŠPJ students, the Implementation of the Regional Action Plan of the Vysočina Region II – Teachíus from life for life to IBW, four students of the Gymnázia Žďár nad Sázavou under the expert guidance of Dr. Martina Chalupové from Department of Economicý Studiesí VŠPJ. The „IBW for nás was both a great experiencešenceí in the field of business and management, and a uniqueátní opportunityí to improvešit and practice onše English skills. We triedše to perform in front of an audience in a foreignálanguage, prováchildren differentéanalýzy on a givené téma, work in a group and learn something new about Erasmus,“ said Elena Hanusová, a student of the Gymnázia Žďár nad Sázavou.

International Business Week (IBW) is the name given to theýdailyý projecté activities thaté takeé placeé atšešcollegesáinvolvedýin&the&internationalýbirth&each&college&of&the& IBW. The Department of Economicsýe Studiesý atŠPJ started to participate in the organisation of IBW in 2011. Since then, the department has organized eight IBWs in cooperation with various regional institutions and business entities such as the Jihlava Zoo, Bernard Brewery, Bosch Diesel, s.r.o. and the Regional Gallery of the Highlands in Jihlava. Many VŠPJ students took the opportunity to go abroad for IBW and visited countries such as Portugal, Itálie, France, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany.
