Volunteers can take advantage of free counselling at the VŠPJ

In rám ofám ofálongém support of volunteerým activities, the Department of Socialálná práce VŠPJ consultingám for volunteers. The aim of the new counsellingé service is to provide free help to volunteers who need advice, for example, in the field of economics or law, or support in the form of supervision or psychotherapy. „From regular contact with volunteers and their coordiná&a tors iná, what sometimes demotivates them and why they volunteer; they cannot engage as often and to the extent they would like or need to,“ uvá Mgr. Martina Černá, Ph.D., of the Department of Socialální práce VŠPJ and dále continues: „Dís assistance to the consultant m´sta s can volunteer time to stráve activities that únot fully understand´, do not enjoy´ them and are more likely to make the´ mistake of investing in a volunteeré activity thatá fulfills them.“

Consultation´ m´ table for well´ people, whose activities are coordinated by the Department of Socialá prá of VŠPJ, usingá theá potentialá lu ofá diverseá professionalá focus&academics, for exampleá by VŠPJ departments. A volunteer who chooses to take advantage of the advice can thus be sure of receiving knowledgeable advice and support from experts. In the future, the involvement of VŠPJ students, who should provide administrative support for the activity, is expected to be a priority.

Consulting´ table can be contacted by VŠPJ students and staff as well as by volunteers from the public. How does the consultation work? Just send your question or describe the problem to konzultaceprodobrovolniky@vspj.cz. Consultation Center staff will contact you back to arrange an appointment. Consultations will take place by appointment in the VŠPJ building or online.

Volunteeringí is aýý phenomenoné whiché employees and students of the Department of Socialá&lní prá ce and other&scaron& í departments of the Polytechnicé College&scaroné Jihlava have been devoted to for a long time. A clearým proof can be for example theýlaí prize Dobroch, whiché annually organizedá Volunteeré center of the Regionalé charity Jihlava. In rámci 15th annual award ceremony, which took place on 12. November 2021 in the Hotel Gustav Mahler Jihlava, several of theáé školy polytechnické Jihlava female students received the Dobroch award. The Department of Socialální práce of the VŠPJ soádá annually on the occasion of the Interánatal´ day of volunteering at the VŠPJ. VŠPJ employees are also regularly involved in a number of otherší volunteerý activities, such as theú úPublicé&space&cleanups&in&the&neighborhood&across&the&Scaron&PJ&in&aá&move&in&event& Cleaná Vysočina and Let's clean up the Czech Republic.
