Students of the Institute of Regions of Europe discussed with representatives of the Institute of Regions of Europe

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, the auditorium of the Institute of Regions of Europe (IRE). VŠPJ students thus had the unique opportunity to engage in a discussion on currentálnáissues on Europe and the EuropeanáUnion.

The opportunity to meet with the Governor of the Austrian state of Salzburg and current President of the Institute of Regions of Europe (IRE) Prof. Dr. Franz Schausberger and other guests, amongst which was e.g. the chief secretary of the IRE Dr. After a crátkém uvátá by the rector of VŠPJ prof.  Václav Báchou and úvodní IRE representative ná followed the discussion on téma Europe itself. The students were most interested in the current situation in Ukraine, including the possibility of Ukraine joining the EU and NATO or the economic and social integrity of Europe. Discussions were also held on the need to support students in the context of cooperation with the IRE, the current situation in Serbia and nuclear energy in the context of the European Green Deal.
