Nápads and námachines to address thešení impacts of the restrictions due to Covid-19, as well as the nonámý impacts of the current válcy in Ukraine on travel; tourism in the Czeché Republic, in Poland and in Slovakia were the subject of discussion in 16. Annual International Conference „Currentáln´ problemséin&tourism“.
The conference was traditionally organized by the Department of Tourism of the VŠPJ in cooperation with the public organization Vysočina Tourism. The conference was held under the auspices of the Governor of the Vysočina Region Mgr. Vítězslav Schrek, MBA and the Mayor of the Statutoryárnícity of Jihlava MgA. Karolíny Koubové. Mediaálním partner of the conference was the company COT group and professional partners were CzechTourism, Association of Czech Travel Agencies and Agencies, Association of Czech Guides; Republic, the Association of Historical Sích Sídel Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia and the Association of Rural Tourism and agrotourism. The event was held on March 2 and 3, 2022.
The fulléconference featured veryéspeakers who outlined the éproblems of the sector and some options for mitigating the impacts of the crisis. Mr. Václav Vítek from Amazing Places discussed the importance and benefits of usingámarketingýmachines forábusinesses in the tourism field.
&Úfrequent´participants&of&the&conference&were&interested&in&theé presentation´ of Mr. Mgr. Adam Eliáše from Czechégastronomicéinstitute and his detailed´ summary´ inýzev for the gastronomy sector. In the rámce of the presentationsí not only problemsé but alsoé proposed solutionsšení or changedí initiatives leading to solutionšení of the situation.
Mrí Ing. Kateřina Chaloupková from Association of Czechých Travelách Travelách Agenciesá paid attention to the currentáln´ developments on the travelách Travelách Travelá market, in connection with the restriction travelání due to the Covid-19, dále changesáin legislation in the travelán´n&rí sector, and the problemsá&scaron& í brought by theáleý conflict in Ukraine.
In theá plenaryární sessionání spoke Msá RNDr. Mgr. Stanislava Pachrová, Ph.D. from Universityé školy polytechnické Jihlava and presented the results of the Czech-Austrianésurvey conducted in the field of digitalization in culturalétourism. The survey was part of the Czech-Austrian cross-border Interreg project.
During the two days of the conference, around 40 presentations were made by domestic and foreign experts from both academic and application fields. In addition to university šcolleges, the conference was also attended by representatives of destination ´tourism & selfáorganizations.
An accompanying programme was prepared for the úý conference participants. In cooperation with the public organization Vysočina Tourism, the úíí´& participants went to the &scaron& tera Želiv, where they took a tour and discovered the legacy of Jan Blažej Santini in the architecture there. In the eveningáhoursáthenútheúparticipantsáandáorganizersáofátheápremisesáofátheárestaurantáandábeer&pub atáMasarykátownáin&a festiveábanquetáandáinformaládiscussion.
The conference „Currentální problemséof&tourism“ has a long tradition, in which the Highá šJihlava Polytechnicá School of Polytechnicá Jihlava plans to continue and to create a space on itsá soil for stimulatingá and noná discussion.
