16th International Conference on Current Problems of Tourism

Since 2006, the period at the turn of února and March is regularly dedicated to an interáá conference at the VŠP Jihlava. The aim of the conference is to create conditions for international meetings of experts from the academic and application spheres who will discuss the main problems and trends in tourism development. In the year 2021, the epidemiological situation did not allow to organize the conference so that academics and practitioners could meet in person at Jihlava University. Therefore, the Department of Tourism has prepared two professional online discussion meetings in March and November 2021 on the pandemic& of tourism and the pandemic on the problems that tourism has brought. Given the positiveíresponse, the newly started tradition of online ímeetings will continue.

In the case of the conference of the problems of tourism the department returns to the proven form of   face-to-face meetings. Annual Conference will take place on 2 and 3 March 2022 at the Historicéé auditorium of the V&Scaron& PJ, this time at theáé very topicalé té té ma Crisisá solutioná for tourism. Oneán´ conferences are also opená to VŠPJ students.

Together with the Department of Tourism of VŠP Jihlava, the conference is organized by the Regional Committee of Vysočina Tourism. The event is held under the auspices of the Governor of the Vysočina Region and the President of the Statute of the City of Jihlava. Mediaální support is provided by COT group. The conference's professional partners are CzechTourism – the Czech Travel Centre, the Association of Czech Travel Agencies; and agencies, the Association of Rural Tourism and Agrotourism, the Association of Historical Associations of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia and the Association of Guides of the Czech Republic.

At the festive plenary session, which featured speeches by Václav Vítek (Managing Director, Amazing Places), Adam Eliáš (vákonný Director, Czechý Gastronomicý institute) and Kateřina Chaloupková (Association of Czech Travel Agencies), will be probíhat oneání in several expertýsections.
