VŠPJ honoured the memory of Jan Palach
On Sunday 16. January 2022, on Jan Palach Memorial Day, the leadership of the šcollege of polytechnicé Jihlava honored the memory of the student Jan Palach, who in 1969 upáJan Palach, who died in protest against the suppression of freedoms and passive public protest after the beginning of the occupation of Czechoslovakia by the army of the Warsaw Pact. Rector of Václav Bácha laid a symbolic flower at the Klách, a memorial to democracy in the grounds of the Czechálu in Jihlava. The commemorative act in honour of Palach was attended by the Vice-Rector for Studies Jana Borůvková.
