VŠPJ commemorated November 17 in Jihlava and Prague
The Day of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy and the International Student Day were commemorated by the Jihlava Polytechnic College in Jihlava and Prague. On události 17. November, the VŠPJ remembered during a meeting at the memorial of Klítníku Klíče in areálu Czechýna, whiché as in previous years, took place on the eve of Státního svátku. Starting at the &scaronéh memorial in the historic &scaronéh building, which is symbolically adorned with 89 candles, a group of &scaronéh made their way to the &scaronéh building;more than three´ dozen´ students, academicý and operationalý staffý and students of the third&age university towards the memorial. Here, a symbolic bouquet was laid on behalf of the VŠPJ by the Vice-Rector for Studies RNDr. Jana Borůvková, Ph.D., who recalled herá experience of the Velvet Revolution. Freedom is like health. Indeed, we often realize that we have no faults only at the moment when we start to learn about, she said in her speech.
The Zuzana Lasáková, Petr Wolf and Šimon Hajník, members of the student chamber of the Academic Senate of VŠPJ, Mr. On November 16th, they took part in the concert Students of Velvet, which took place in the Great Hall of the Žofán Palace on the occasion of the International Student Day. At the concert, which was part of the student arts festival FESTA ACADEMICA, musical ensembles of five Czech and Moravian colleges performed.
On Fight for Freedom and Democracy Day, the mímo for the Academic Senát of VŠPJ Ing. Martina Kuncová, Ph.D., together with the m´áá chairwoman for the student chamber of the Academic Senate of V&ScaronáPJ Zuzana Lasákova took part in the traditional commemorative act at the Hlávkovy dormitory and in Žitné street. As everyýyear, this commemorative event was organized by the Studentáchamber of the Council of colleges šcolleges with the aim of honouring the memory of the students of hájácícíc´c´c´c academicéfreedom and humanápráva. „I was honored to attend this event as a student, said Susan Lasáková.
