Jubilee JOBStart attracted around 400 visitors

The JOBStart job fair provides an annual opportunity for students and graduates of VŠPJ to participate in a job fair;mý contact withemployers, giving them the opportunity to start a career. After last year's annual event, which was held online due to anti-epidemic measures, this year JOBStart returned to the VŠPJ building. November 2021, more than thirty employers from the Vysočina Region and the students were presented to the students from theíscale of theíThe students had the opportunity to find a job or a temporary job, to arrange a professional practice or to choose a supervisor for their bachelor's or diploma studies. „Návšersé and exhibitorsé were very pleased that JOBStart, after a forcedé hiatus last year, was held in person at the newávávácenter. They could thus spend the fair in a uniqueátníenvironment´ moderní building, whichá has notá recently fromárocked a &scaron&tní prize in the prestigious architectural competition Building of the Year,“ said Mgr. Andrea Ondráchková, headá of the V&Scaron&PJ Consultancy and Career Centre and the mainá organizer of the fair.JOBStart 2021 offered the opportunity to test the level of English language skills at the British Council VŠPJ test centre. Around four hundred students and graduates of VŠPJ took advantage of the unique opportunity to meet employers during the fair.

One of the innovations of the 10th annualý fair was the thematic  division of the individual days of the fair by industry. The Ú waterý day of the fair was dedicated to students and graduates of technicalý programs. In addition to traditional exhibitors such as BOSCH Diesel s.r.o. and Marelli Automotive Lighting (Czech Republic) s.r.o., GORDIC spol. s r.o., OPTOKON, a.s. and OptoNet Communication spol. s r.o. presented themselves at the fair on 2 November. The mostší arousedá among the students was the „roboticý „krupiér“ of DEL a.s. – šestiosý robot FANUC, with whichý students could playá dice for smallé prizes.

On Wednesday, November 3, students of the Department of Economic Studies and the Department of Tourism had the opportunity to make contact with potential employers. Among the exhibitors were, for example, the Eurocentrum Jihlava and Europe Direct Jihlava, the Regional Directorate of Police of the Vysočina Region, the Statutární City of Jihlava or the students of the Vysočina Region. Withináeveý day of the fair was dedicated to students of the Department of Healthých Studies and the Department of Socialální práce. On Thursday 4. charity from Jihlava as well as from Žďáru nad Sázavou, the Recruiting and Recruitment Department of the Army of the Czech Republic or the General Health Insurance of the Czech Republic.
