The Building of the Year 2021 titles have been handed out. VŠPJ Training Centre wins special prize

Awardedí and presentedí the Building of the Year title is annually the mostý significant&scaron& í eventá lostí of the year in constructioní and architecture, and is worthyýAý commemoration, among otheré, of theý famousý engineeringý, transportý and industrialý buildings whiché are soé ané integral&part&of&it. In 29.The  year of this prestigious nationwide competition, a total of 10 Building of the Year 2021 titles, 25 special &scaron´ awards, 2 Public Awards and one title for a building in a foreign country were awarded. This is the Award of the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction, an award from the main organization of the Academy of Architecture and Construction;The competition is also organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians in Construction and the Association of Construction Entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic.

The Building of the Year competition has traditionally been a big draw for entrants. This year a total of 90 buildings were entered into the competition. The jury visitedštíallšené buildings during July and August, driving over 3,200 km in less than 13 days. On the road with the jury inšeach construction was documented by filmý štáb. The nominations were then presented on the 6th ofá 2021 at the Ná Rodní museu technické in Prague. The Výukové centre of VŠPJ was the only nominee from the Vysočina Region among 33 buildings. The titles and special awards were announced at the Building of the Year 2021 gala dinner on Monday, October 18, in the Betlééé chapel in Prague. The prize of the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction for the Výukové centre of VŠPJ was received by the contractors of the firm Podzimek a synové, who entered the project in the competition. Razítko symbolically represents the last´ and completely iný „razítko“ in the process of the wholeé realization of the construction.

Theýé V&Scaroné Centre of V&Scaroné PJ was created by reconstructing theý north´ wing of the former&scaroné courthouse, where the&scaroné &scaroné Polytechnicé Jihlava sí longí. It includes a frontším frontášmetalý withál with a capacity of 340 míst, in basementénu isází barrier-freeéroveá inýuková factory for Industry 4.0. The originalální connectioní of moderní architecture with the historicalý object was realized by the Pragueás Qarta architecture studio by the three&scaroná company Podzimek a synové s.r.o. funded by a subsidy from the Ministry of šcollageí, milká and bodyý breeding, took place in úpart& ofý theú guests in únor 2020.
