According to the research of the University of Applied Sciences, domestic tourists come to Vysočina for knowledge and relaxation

The most common tourist in the Highlands is a middle-aged person who comes to relax and get to know the region. This is shown by the results of a survey carried out by the Department of Tourism of the Polytechnic University of Jihlava.

The Profile of Domestic Tourists in Vysočina was compiled by the Department of Tourism of the VŠPJ for the regional destination agency Vysočina Tourism. It was based on data from the extensive „Theý&effect&of&the&research&is&that&the&typical&domestic&tourist&in&the&High&lands&is&a&high&school&college&graduate&with&a&high&school&graduation&at&the&age&of&35–49 years old, who comes with a partner or partner to explore the region and relax. „ It is an importantý lesson for us, which we will continue to work with. We need to know the feedback so that we know who to focus on in promoting the Highlands in the field of tourism.“

According to the research, itásásává that tourists most often come from the Highlands or from neighbouring regions and Prague. More than half of the tourists arrive by car from more than a hundred kilometres away, eating in restaurants; Spendí 501–1000 CZK per person per day.
